Against the backdrop of the crisis in Syria, marked by conflict and natural disasters, communities have been left vulnerable, and access to energy is a priority, particularly in the governorates of Idlib and Aleppo, where more than half of the displaced people are located.
To address this critical need for energy, Électriciens sans frontières has implemented several initiatives: providing solar lamps, conducting outreach in schools, and developing educational training materials.
As part of the agreement established with the NGO and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Sicame Group provided 400 solar kits to ESF to equip 22 schools in the Idlib governorate that are not connected to the power grid.
This support from the Endowment Fund ensures continued access to light, as well as the ability to charge electronic devices, thereby enabling educational activities to continue.
