Sarah and her team win the Para Rugby World Championships
04.09.2026

The U.S. wheelchair rugby team hadn’t won a world title since 2010. This year, the team, led by co-captain Sarah Adam, finally won the World Championships in São Paulo, Brazil. A great achievement as we look ahead to the 2028 Paralympic Games in Los Angeles! Our athlete Sarah scored 71 tries in 8 games and was named “Player of the Match” during her team’s first game against the Netherlands.
