Our athlete Émeline competed in two stages of the Para Swimming World Cup, part of a global circuit featuring nine events across five continents that brings together the world’s best swimmers from 38 countries for moments of outstanding performance and excitement.
In March in Barcelona (Spain), Émeline took first place in the 100-meter freestyle, second place in the 400-meter freestyle, and third place in the 50-meter freestyle in her disability category (S10).
In May, she proved herself at Aquaval—the Alice Millat Aquatic Center in Paris, France—finishing first in the 100-meter freestyle, third in the 400-meter freestyle, and third in the 100-meter backstroke.
As for the next steps in her athletic career, Émeline has decided not to compete in the 2026 European Championships—which have been postponed to September—so she can best prepare for the 2027 World Championships, which will be crucial for her primary goal: the 2028 Paralympic Games in Los Angeles. She is prioritizing an optimized training plan, including a recovery period this summer, so she can approach the two key years leading up to the Games fully prepared, and will focus intensively on physical and technical improvements, with the goal of performing even better at next year’s World Championships.
The Endowment Fund congratulates Émeline and encourages her as she continues her athletic journey!
