Through Boddingtons Electrical, one of Sicame Group’s subsidiaries based in the UK, we supported the Wilderness Foundation UK, dedicated to helping people reconnect to society and themselves through outdoor adventures, nature-based therapy and mentoring.

The Foundation works to provide environmental education through nature immersive programmes that educate, inspire and reconnect people facing a number of challenges in their lives.

Our donation towards the Big Give Christmas Challenge, UK’s biggest collaborative fundraising campaign, allowed the Foundation to reach a fundraising of £22,419. This money will support the Foundation’s Wilderness Therapy and Environmental Education programmes.

We helped the Wilderness Foundation by funding a second pod, used for therapeutic sessions and welcoming the visitors and therapists.

Boddingtons also introduced a volunteer group to support the Foundation with practical tasks such as wood clearing, painting, carpentry and gardening.

The Endowment Fund, with the collaboration of Sicame Group’s subsidiaries, is proudly committed to supporting mental health and environmental focused actions.
