Hélios Latchoumanaya, Émeline Pierre and Valentin Bertrand, 3 athletes supported by the Endowment Fund, took part in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, held from August 28 to September 8 in Paris, France.
Émeline, in para-swimming, won 2 medals in the Paris La Défense Arena pool, one GOLD in the 100 m freestyle, beating the reigning Paralympic champion and world record holder, and the other bronze in the 100 m backstroke.
As for Hélios, he had the honor of relaying the Paralympic flame in the town of Sevran, and carrying it during the Rock en Seine music festival. World number 1 and two-time world para judo champion in the -90 kg category, he finished the Paralympic Games with a silver medal in the final against Ukrainian Oleksandr Nazarenko.
