French Record: Valentin surpasses himself to achieve his goals

The Paris 2024 Paralympic Games proved disappointing for Valentin Bertrand, the athlete supported by the Endowment Fund, who returned to training with diminished motivation and doubts on his mind.

After persevering through several months of difficult training, his efforts finally paid off in July when he secured the title of French vice-champion in Belfort.

Reinvigorated and determined to deliver a great jump, he finally achieved his goal at the Rhede Meeting (Germany) in August, with a jump of 6.21m—his personal best and a new French record!

The Sicame Endowment Fund extends its congratulations to Valentin for his inspiring journey and results, achieved with great determination.
