Céline Gerny announces the end of her para-dressage career

A remarkable athlete, Céline Gerny recently announced the end of her para-dressage career. After 20 successful years in this sport at the highest level, the athlete supported by the Endowment Fund has decided to put an end to her sporting adventure.

Céline began riding in 1988, at the age of 6, and suffered a fall from a horse 13 years later, which left her with complete and permanent paraplegia. She got back in the saddle only 5 months after her accident and joined the French para-dressage team in 2004, with whom she began her career as a disabled athlete. At the same time, she works as a kindergarten teacher and speaks at conferences on handisport, women's sport and self-improvement.

Her impressive list of achievements includes 6 French championship titles, 4 bronze medals at the European Championships and 3 participations in the Paralympic Games!

The Endowment Fund, which has supported Céline for 3 years, is proud to have been able to accompany an athlete full of passion, effort and determination.
